Zhejiang University of Technology

Zhejiang University of Technology is the first provincial and ministerial jointly built university in the eastern coastal region, one of the first national "Higher Education Innovation Ability Enhancement Plan" (2011 Plan) collaborative innovation center led universities, and one of the first key construction universities in Zhejiang Province. It is located in Hangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in China and a scenic tourist destination. The school was founded in 1953, and its predecessor can be traced back to the Zhejiang Secondary Industrial School established in 1910. It has gone through various stages of development, including Hangzhou Chemical School, Zhejiang Chemical Vocational School, Zhejiang Institute of Chemical Technology, and Zhejiang Institute of Technology. In 1993, it was renamed Zhejiang University of Technology.
